At the end of a page or post, ND Feedback asks whether the content was useful. Visitors respond with a thumbs-up or thumbs-down. Votes are counted per post, without a shortcode and without a separate form.
Typical use cases for ND feedback
- You can see which guides, service pages or help articles are actually useful.
- Posts that have received a lot of negative votes can be specifically revised.
- The query runs on pages, posts or custom content types, depending on what you enable.
- In the dashboard, the top list is readily available without having to open the individual posts.
Feedback
One vote per post is allowed within 24 hours, for both guests and logged-in readers. After that, you can vote again. Only the vote counts are stored; no personal data is recorded. The cookie simply remembers in the browser that a vote has already been cast. All existing vote cookies can be invalidated at once. The vote counts will be retained.
The widget appears aligned to the right at the bottom of the single view: two frameless buttons and the current counter. After voting, the buttons remain visible but are disabled. Below them is the message „Thank you for your feedback.“ On a dark background, the text and icons appear light; on a light background, they appear dark. The widget does not appear in lists, feeds or previews. If no content type is selected, it is omitted entirely.
Statistics
On the dashboard, a widget displays the five posts with the most votes and the total number. The full list can be found under Settings → ND Feedback → Statistics. Within the post itself, you can see the counters in the editor’s sidebar.
The votes are linked to the post. If the post is deleted, the votes are also removed. By default, they are retained when the plugin is uninstalled. Optionally, all vote counts can be deleted as well.
Documentation
Once installation is complete, you can find the full documentation under Settings → ND Feedback → Documentation.
